Dragon Lacquer Review Week: Metal Mama

Another fabulous Dragon Lacquer polish for you today. This time from her core collection: Metal Mama.

A yummy bottle shot and macro bottle shot of Metal Mama. And yes there are hexes and squares and circles oh my!

Here is the coat skittle (l-r: 4 coats, 3 coats, 2 coats, and 1 coat). Definitely a top coat here.....a yummy top coat! When you combine hexes and circles and squares and holographic micro glitter, you have a recipe for success! I also used Dragon Lacquer Anti-Dragon Skin Butter Creme, Fluffy Lemon Cuticle Butter, and Cuticle Oil that I reviewed on for you on Monday.

The amazing colors in this polish are gunmetal, pink, purple, lavender, and fuchsia, and holographic micro glitter in a clear base. And as I have said all kinds of glitters! A total win! And again like I have come to expect from Dragon Lacquer, amazing formula and application!

How about some matte? China Glaze Matte Magic freezes the glitters in a icy cold grasp. I love it! The holographic micro glitters look amazing!

Just look! Isn't it loverly! I asked Keven (the owner) what the inspiration behind Metal Mama was: she is a mother to three beautiful girls (13, 10, and 3) and she loves metal music! What perfect inspiration!

I just had to see what Metal Mama (one coat) would look like over OPI Dutch Ya Just Love OPI? And Metal Mama (two coats) over Essence Romeo. I was not disappointed.

Bam! Matted! Love it! Which do you prefer?

Metal Mama sells for $9 for a 0.5 oz bottle.

Don't forget that Dragon Lacquer has created a discount code for you my owlets! GEEKYOWL10 (expires June 30)
